Yard 1 offers a wide range of recording services, ranging from solo to group projects, and catering for both amateurs and professionals.Our facilities include a 2 purpose built and acoustically treated studio rooms and vocal booth, to provide effective recording services for all requirements. We use a Soundtracs CP6800 52 channel in-line mixing console. 16 channel multi track recording, Intel i7 8 core, RME 16 in 16 out converters, Cubase 6, Sound Forge and T-Raks to facilitate the best possible audio production. We offer multiple mastering formats including MP3, MP4, Wav, AIF, Ogg, Quick Time, Real Media, WMA and more.

We offer a self recording service where any aspiring singer can have themselves recorded over a backing track and have a CD and Photos of themselves to take away!
A brand new for addon Autumn 2011 is make a music video, after you have recorded you songs you will be able to use a green screen to make your own music video which you can take home on a dvd.
The recording experieence is suitable for individuals but we cann arrange for it to be used for larger groups, for Birthday parties and hen parties.

We offer a complete remastering service, we cantransfer music from old media types like tapes and records and put them onto CDs / DVDs using any number of formats. We can digitally enhance the quality of the audio removing 'pops' and 'crackles' if the recording is poor.
